Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Community held a holiday blood drive for The Long Island Blood Center. Blood donations - the gift of life - tend to be in short supply during the holiday season. Birchwood Suites residents, family, friends and staff rolled up their sleeves and donated over 30 pints of blood.
Birchwood Suites Annual Winter Coat Drive
Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Community completed its Annual Winter Coat Drive with more coats, hats and scarves collected than any year! The drive benefits The Refuge in East Northport who distributes the warm clothing to our less fortunate area neighbors.
Toys for Tots at Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Community
Members of the Commack Cub and Boy Scouts stopped by for a holiday sing-a-long with Birchwood Suites residents, family members and staff. A grand time was had by all!
Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Community Toys for Tots was a designated drop off site for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. A treasure trove of new, un-wrapped toys were donated by residents, family members and staff.

Decking the Halls at Birchwood Suites
Residents and staff are joining together to get their home, Birchwood Suites ready for the holidays. Trees are being trimmed, mantles decorated and outdoor lighting plans begun – all in preparation for the upcoming holiday party in early December.
Bake Off!
Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Community residents were the lucky recipients of a delicious cake donated by a local Cub Scout! The cake, created at The Cub Scouts Father/Son Bake Off completion was enjoyed by residents and staff!

Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Community is proud to support St. Anthony of Padua's annual food drive. Residents, family members and staff all joined together to contribute non-perishable food items for St. Anthony’s food pantry.
Birchwood Suites Commemorates Veteran's Day
Birchwood Suites Assisted Living Community was proud to host a Veteran's Day commemoration for veteran residents and members of the community. Special certificates of appreciation were presented to all veterans followed by a savory lunch prepared by Birchwood Suites Master Chef Matt.
Halloween Celebrations at Birchwood Suites
Residents, family members and staff got together to celebrate Halloween. Residents and staff got decked out in very creative customs ranging from The Little Dutch Girl to Audrey Hepburn! A great time was had by all!
